Leading contractor providing full life-cycle solutions in the renewable & traditional energy market

Principali responsabilità

-Analyze project-specific risks and opportunities;

-Develop a risk management plan coordinating development project execution strategy, contracting/commercial strategy and project insurance options;

-Provide engineering support for PV solar specific engineering issues and value engineering opportunities based on the project-specific risk profile;

-Prepare and draft technical inputs and Employer Requirements for project tender documents and contracts;

-Support and coordinate the Countries Commercial Manager in analyzing EPC/Supplier tender submittals;

-Selects, among the various projects identified, those projects, which for nature, size, location or complexity are suitable to Company targets and would allow Company to bid in a frame of competitiveness;

-Defines a partnering strategy (if a partner/s is needed) with other/s Contractor/s and/or a comply with Client’s requirements in terms of involvement of local Contractors;

-Approves the  pre-qualification  dossier,  prepared  within  a  fixed  time  frame,  replying  to  the  specific

questions/requests included in the Prequalification Questionnaire (if any);

-Defines a partnering strategy (if a partner/s is needed) with other/s Contractor/s and/or a comply with Client’s

requirements in terms of involvement of local Contractors;

-Ensures the technical and financial processing of estimates and the preparation of tenders;

-Approves the final bid price and proposal;

-Ensures that any clarification and/or further information are provided to the Client (if any is required);

-Participates in negotiations with clients to reach an agreement on the outstanding pricing, commercial, contractual and technical aspects of the Proposal and in the formalisation of contracts;

-Negotiate variation orders as required, managing scope, technical issues and commercial commitments;

-Ensures the preparation of a contract award report for internal communication and to approve the budget, which includes also general information of the Project, Work and Cost Breakdown at various levels of details, Work

Programme, Equipment List, List of Personnel and Cash Flow;

-Ensures that Risks and Opportunities Analysis is correctly applied.

Principali caratteristiche richieste

-Minimum of Master’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering, construction management, business or related field required;

-Valid PMP (Project Management Professional) certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Minimum of 5 years experience managing development and/or construction of large scale PV solar projects(from 30 MW up to);

-Experience evaluating and analyzing earned value calculations;

-Written and spoken fluency in English & Spanish; very strong writing skills required. Prior experience working in multi-national and multi-lingual project teams;

-Demonstrated excellence in effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the necessary skills to interface with local representatives, clients, vendors, contractors and subcontractors and other project stakeholders;

-Experience of having worked with clients from concept/design stage through to commercial operations. Demonstrated project financial understanding (such as the development of construction budgets, interpreting and understanding financial reports, financial evaluations, etc.);

-Proven track record of managing strict schedule deadlines;

-Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage project teams.
