On behalf of a company operating in the renewable energy sector, we are looking a senior accountant for the Bucharest office.
We are looking for an accountant who will be involved in administrative and finance activities of our company based in Bucharest.
The person will have the following responsabilities:
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded;
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices;
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations;
- Execute administrative tasks;
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation;
- Assist in the closing of accounts during month-end at the company level and quarterly at Group level within deadlines;
- Book and process income, expenses, and all other financial figures
- Check and control on financial accounts related to balances, payments in/out, process payables/receivables accounts, trade/financial debtors, accruals to bad debt provisions and incoming payments schedules;
- Manage relationship with third parties such as accounting consultants and auditors;
- Help in office organization: supplies, travels, expense claims etc.;
- Evaluate current operations to identify and implement process improvements;
- Ensure that information is accurate and react in a timely manner if the information is not accurate.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting;
- Minimum 3 and a maximum of 5 years of previous working experience in company’s administrative department or corporate services firm;
- Knowledge of accounting principles;
- Fluent in Romanian and English – both written and spoken; knowledge of Italian is considered a plus;
- Good IT skills – MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software;
Depending on the experience from 9 lei net/ month to 11 net lei / month.
